Well, it’s not news that I haven’t been around much on Mama Need Java lately! I even have a feeling most readers have given up on me! But I do have a little bit of an exciting announcement that has taken up much of my time in the last month-

NO- we aren’t prego.

But we are moving cross-country, to Portland, OR, this summer.

Why? Long story and I’ve got to get to bed. But I’m excited and things are moving along. I’ll be visiting in two weeks to scope things out, and likely to move by June 1st. We are about half way packed up around here and have Craigslisted and garage saled like any responsible mover.

Hubby’s graduation signals career change so we are off to see the world I guess!

BTW… the Hostel in the Forest was NOT a relaxing weekend. It was 30 degrees and we slept in a screened “dorm” tree house. Freezing. I didn’t feel two toes for about 12 hours. That would have been manageable, except that the staff was rather unfriendly, gossipy, judgmental and rude. My new motto? Mean hippies stink. If you have dreads, you should just be required to put your arm around strangers and sing Kum Ba Ya. Period.
