oh, thanks Diane! I have some ginger root so I'll going to make that right now!
I started taking St. John's Wort pills for seasonal "down" mood I was getting, but I wonder how I can get my hands on all the ingredients for the migraine tea easily- esp if I feel this coming on again.
I've been wondering if having started a yoga class last week has something to do with this, maybe its even a little cleansing, who knows!

First of all, that biking sounds so fun! I was surprised the first time I biked a really long distance that it wasn't nearly as tiring as I suspected it would be.

I'm laughing because when I read you're having migraines (sorry to hear!), I thought, I'd better get on that for her and send her some herbal cures! My favorite pain-relieving "herb" is ginger root. You can take about an inch of the root, peel it, chop it up really fine, and put it in a pot of water (about 2 cups) and simmer it down halfway. I drink this daily for back pain, and it's also great for PMS pain and asthma.

There's a blog I recently discovered, and I love it. It's www.natural-holistic-health.com. Under the Pain Management section she has a recipe for a migraine tea that has St. John's Wort, Valerian, Linden and Juniper in it. Very cool site!

Hope you feel better, dear! I hate migraines...
